By accessing or using SocietyVendor, creating an account, submitting a listing, registering a society, or using any service provided through the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use & Privacy Policy.

- Society residents
- Contract vendors and contractors
- Individual vendors and service professionals
- Visitors and other users of the platform

2. About SocietyVendor
SocietyVendor provides an online platform for discovering and connecting housing societies and residents with vendors and service professionals.
SocietyVendor may provide features including:
- Vendor and professional listings
- Society listings
- Search and filtering
- Vendor comparisons
- Reviews and ratings
- Vendor enquiry/contact facilities
- Society and vendor verification
- Document submission for verification
- Subscription and paid listing services
- Communication and notifications
SocietyVendor is a platform and information service. Unless expressly stated otherwise, SocietyVendor does not itself provide, perform, supervise, guarantee, or warrant the services offered by any vendor or professional listed on the platform.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account.
You are responsible for:
- Providing truthful information
- Keeping your account information updated
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- Preventing unauthorized access to your account
- All activity conducted through your account
You must not create an account using another person’s identity or impersonate another person, society, organization, or business.
SocietyVendor may request additional information or documentation where reasonably necessary for verification, security, fraud prevention, or regulatory purposes.
4. Account Types
SocietyVendor may provide different account types, including:
4.1 Society
A housing society or an authorized representative may register the society on SocietyVendor.
4.2 Society Resident
An individual residing in a registered society may create a resident account, subject to applicable verification requirements.
4.3 Contract Vendor
A business, company, contractor, agency, or other service provider serving housing societies may register as a Contract Vendor.
4.4 Individual Vendor
An individual professional or service provider may register as an Individual Vendor.
SocietyVendor may modify, add, remove, or change account types and associated features at its discretion.
5. Society Registration & Verification
A person registering a society represents and warrants that they are authorized to provide the information and documents submitted on behalf of that society.
SocietyVendor may request documents such as:
- Society registration or identification documents
- Authority Letters
- Committee authorization documents
- Proof of address
- Other documents reasonably required for verification
Submission of documents does not automatically mean that the society has been verified.
SocietyVendor may review submitted information and may approve, reject, request clarification, or request additional documentation.
A “Verified” status means that SocietyVendor has completed its stated verification process based on information and documents available to it at the time of verification. It does not constitute a guarantee, certification, legal endorsement, or continuing representation regarding the society.
6. Vendor Registration & Verification
Vendors may be required to provide information including:
- Business or professional name
- Contact details
- Service categories
- Service locations
- Business information
- Experience
- Supporting documents
- References or project information
- Other information required for verification
SocietyVendor may verify information using documents, information supplied by the vendor, publicly available information, references, or other reasonable verification methods.
Verification does not guarantee:
- The quality of the vendor’s services
- Workmanship
- Pricing
- Availability
- Timeliness
- Financial stability
- Licensing or regulatory compliance beyond the scope of verification actually performed
- Future conduct or performance
Users should conduct their own due diligence before engaging a vendor.
7. Listing Information and Accuracy
Users are responsible for ensuring that information submitted to SocietyVendor is accurate and not misleading.
Vendors must not:
- Claim experience they do not possess
- Claim projects they did not perform
- Misrepresent their qualifications
- Use another company’s identity
- Publish false reviews or testimonials
- Upload documents that are fraudulent, altered, or unauthorized
- Make misleading claims regarding verification
SocietyVendor may edit, reject, suspend, remove, or request correction of information that it reasonably believes is inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, unlawful, or inconsistent with these Terms.
8. Vendor Reviews and Ratings
Reviews and ratings are intended to provide users with genuine feedback regarding vendors and professionals.
Where SocietyVendor requires verification for a review, users may be required to establish their eligibility before submitting a review.
Users must provide genuine and experience-based reviews.
Users must not:
- Submit fake reviews
- Review themselves
- Review a business in which they have an undisclosed interest
- Offer or accept payment for a positive or negative review
- Submit multiple reviews for the same experience
- Post defamatory, threatening, abusive, discriminatory, or unlawful content
- Use reviews to extort or harass another person or business
SocietyVendor may moderate, edit, restrict, or remove reviews that violate these Terms.
SocietyVendor does not guarantee that every review is accurate, complete, or independently verified.
9. User-Submitted Content
Users may submit information, photographs, documents, reviews, comments, business descriptions, logos, and other content (“User Content”).
You retain ownership of User Content that you legally own.
By submitting User Content, you grant SocietyVendor a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, distribute, and use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, promote, improve, and provide SocietyVendor services.
You represent that:
- You have the necessary rights to submit the content
- The content does not violate another person’s rights
- The content is not unlawful or fraudulent
- The content does not contain malicious software
- The content does not violate these Terms
10. Documents and Authority Letters
Certain users may be asked to upload documents for verification.
Users should upload only documents that they are legally authorized to provide.
SocietyVendor may use submitted documents for verification, fraud prevention, account administration, and related platform purposes.
SocietyVendor may retain documents for a reasonable period as required for operational, legal, security, dispute-resolution, or compliance purposes.
Users should avoid submitting unnecessary sensitive personal information in documents.
SocietyVendor may reject documents that are illegible, incomplete, suspicious, expired, unauthorized, or otherwise unsuitable for verification.
11. Communication Between Users
SocietyVendor may provide communication facilities allowing users to contact societies, vendors, professionals, or other users.
Users are responsible for their communications and interactions.
SocietyVendor does not guarantee:
- That another user will respond
- That information provided by another user is accurate
- That an enquiry will result in a transaction
- That a vendor will accept or complete an engagement
Users should exercise appropriate caution when sharing personal, financial, property, or other sensitive information.
12. Search, Comparison and Vendor Selection
SocietyVendor may provide search results, rankings, filters, recommendations, badges, ratings, verification indicators, or comparison tools.
Such information is provided to assist users in making their own decisions.
A listing’s position, rating, badge, verification status, or appearance on SocietyVendor does not constitute an endorsement or guarantee of the vendor.
Users are responsible for evaluating vendors before entering into any contract or transaction.
SocietyVendor is not a party to contracts between societies, residents, vendors, or professionals unless expressly stated otherwise.
13. Fees, Subscriptions and Payments
Some SocietyVendor features may be free while others may require payment.
Paid services may include:
- Premium listings
- Featured listings
- Vendor subscriptions
- Advertising
- Promotional services
- Other paid features
Applicable prices, taxes, subscription periods, renewal terms, and refund conditions will be communicated at the time of purchase or through the applicable service page.
SocietyVendor may change pricing or introduce new paid services with appropriate notice where required.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, payment for a SocietyVendor listing or subscription does not guarantee leads, enquiries, contracts, sales, reviews, rankings, or business results.
14. Prohibited Activities
You must not use SocietyVendor to:
- Commit or facilitate unlawful activity
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Create fraudulent accounts
- Submit false information
- Upload fraudulent documents
- Manipulate ratings or reviews
- Harass or threaten another user
- Scrape or copy SocietyVendor data without authorization
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform
- Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Interfere with platform security or operation
- Spam users
- Misuse contact information
- Violate intellectual property rights
- Use SocietyVendor for activities prohibited by applicable law
SocietyVendor may take appropriate action against accounts involved in prohibited activities.
15. Intellectual Property
SocietyVendor and its associated branding, logos, designs, software, website content, graphics, text, databases, and other materials may be protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, sell, license, scrape, republish, or commercially exploit SocietyVendor content without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
User Content remains subject to Section 9 of these Terms.
16. Third-Party Services and Links
SocietyVendor may use or link to third-party services, including payment providers, mapping services, authentication services, analytics services, communication services, hosting providers, and other technology providers.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
SocietyVendor is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, security, or practices of third-party services outside its reasonable control.
17. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
SocietyVendor provides its platform on an “as available” and “as is” basis to the extent permitted by applicable law.
SocietyVendor does not guarantee that:
- The platform will always be available
- Listings will always be accurate or current
- Every vendor is suitable for a particular requirement
- A vendor will perform satisfactorily
- A transaction will be successful
- Reviews are completely accurate
- Verification will identify every possible issue
- The platform will be free from errors or interruptions
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SocietyVendor shall not be responsible for losses arising from transactions, contracts, disputes, misconduct, negligence, fraud, delays, poor workmanship, pricing disputes, or other dealings between users and vendors, except to the extent directly caused by SocietyVendor’s own legally actionable conduct.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless SocietyVendor and its owners, operators, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- False or misleading information submitted by you
- Your User Content
- Your unlawful conduct
- Your infringement of another person’s rights
- Your transactions or dealings with another user
19. Account Suspension and Termination
SocietyVendor may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account where it reasonably believes that:
- These Terms have been violated
- Information is fraudulent or misleading
- Documents appear fraudulent or unauthorized
- The account presents a security or legal risk
- The account is being misused
- The user engages in fraudulent review activity
- The account is involved in unlawful activity
Where appropriate, SocietyVendor may provide an opportunity to correct the issue or provide clarification.
Termination does not automatically eliminate obligations that arose before termination.
20. Changes to SocietyVendor
SocietyVendor may modify, suspend, discontinue, or introduce features, services, categories, account types, or functionality.
SocietyVendor will make reasonable efforts to communicate material changes where appropriate.
21. Changes to These Terms
SocietyVendor may update these Terms from time to time.
The updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Continued use of SocietyVendor after the updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
22. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
Subject to applicable law, disputes relating to SocietyVendor shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in [Thane/Mumbai, Maharashtra, India].

Do not publish personal or confidential information in publicly visible reviews, descriptions, photographs, or other content.

- Verification service providers

We do not intend to sell users’ personal information as a standalone product.
Where a vendor or society chooses to contact another user through SocietyVendor, information necessary to facilitate that communication may be shared or made available in accordance with the relevant feature.
32. Payment Information
Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.
SocietyVendor may receive transaction-related information such as payment status, transaction reference, amount, and subscription information.
We generally do not need to store complete payment card details when payments are processed by a third-party payment provider.
Payment providers may process information according to their own privacy policies.
